The Sussex County School Counselor Association held the annual Kent/Sussex Administrator Appreciation Dinner on February 6, 2008 at the Cheer Center in Georgetown, sponsored by Wilmington University. 

          One administrator from each county was chosen to receive the Administrator of the Year Award.

 Dr. Charlynne Hopkins from Long Neck Elementary School, Indian River School District was chosen as Administrator of the Year from Sussex County.
