Each day Delaware's teachers go above and beyond to deliver top-notch instruction to their students. 

Superstars in Education is a statewide program that recognizes and rewards Delaware educators who have implemented and sustained a creative, unique program or teaching practice that raises student achievement and test scores.  Funded by the business community, Superstars in Education also promotes and shares these educational approaches and practices that have shown proven, measurable results.

Since 2001, Superstars in Education has partnered with Lt. Governor John Carney's Models of Excellence in Education program to encourage educators to share their successful programs with their peers.  Each year, winners of both programs convene to showcase their best practices. share them with other educators and encourage them to adapt them in other school environments.
